Anniversary Weekend

So, this past weekend, was Jenn's and my fifth anniversary. To me, it seems like we've been married forever, not just five years–and that's a good thing.

To celebrate, we did a bunch of fun things. We went for supper at Caribou on Friday night where we both had our own entrees and desert. Then I took her for some high culture at the Auditorioum: Martin Short. He was very funny and I think we were the second youngest people there.

Saturday we lined up at the border for an hour to spend the afternoon in Grand Marais and area. We did some geocaching (started the MN State Park series) some shopping, photography and some eating. It was a good time. Then we brought a pie back to mom and dad's.

Sunday we took it pretty easy. After church we went out for lunch with Ben and Heather Laakso (and Adilade) and went to see the new Narnia movie with Tom (and the rest of the world) in the evening.

Monday was hang out and do some (but not much) around the house day, before heading over to my parents for my dad's clickity-clickth birthday.

So, a full weekend, but a long one and a fun one with moments of rest too.
